A COMPHERENSIVE OVERVIEW OF DIFFERENT ASPECT OF PHYTOMEDICINE IN CONVENTIONAL DOSAGE FORMS & TREATMENTS OF DISEASE

ABSTRACT
The term "herbal medicine" or "phytomedicine" refers to the use of plants and herbs to treat and prevent human illnesses. Since long before recorded history, humans have employed plants for therapeutic purposes. Despite the fact that herbal remedies have lost ground to modern medicine in the treatment of diseases in people, the usage of herbal remedies has risen recently all over the world due to the perception that they are less harmful than contemporary drugs and have fewer or no adverse effects. Numerous photochemical and pharmacological investigations have demonstrated the medicinal potential of herbs. The uses of different excipients and active
ingredients of chemical origins used in different dosage form increase the risk of side effect in human body. The multiple administration of the formulation causes the accommodation of the chemical inside cause different problems. In the present days, the researchers and scientist explore the different Vedas and ancient documents to develop the modern dosage form based on herbal origins. In this review article we include the recent advancement in different applications of herbal products in pharmaceutical formulations. Herbal medicines are frequently taken as a whole-herb extract, in the form of tea or fresh juice. Fresh or dried and powdered versions of the entire plant are frequently consumed. The way a medicine is delivered can have a big impact on how effective it is. The treatment's sluggish effectiveness points to an increasing need for a specialised method of delivering drugs to certain organ targets.
