CLINICAL PRESENTATION OF MONGOLIANISM: A CASE STUDY

ABSTRACT
Mongolianism is additionally referred to as Down’s syndrome / Trisomy 21. Mongolianism may be a congenital disease caused when abnormal organic process ends up in extra genetic material from chromosomes which show abnormalities like mental retardation and stunted growth.[1,3] Down syndrome was named after John Langdon Down, the British physician who described the syndrome in 1886. This case report highlights the clinical presentation of 17years old patient with down syndrome.[1,3]
