BENZOTHIAZOLE CORE: SYNTHESIS REPORTS ON BENZOTHIAZOLE DERIVATIVE AND ITS BIOLOGICAL IMPORTANCE

ABSTRACT
Benzothiazole moiety has played ethical role in biological activities such as anticancer, anti-diabetic, antiviral, antimicrobial anti-inflammatory etc. Universal benzothiazole nucleus is very unique in biology due to their multivalent sulphur and nitrogen atom which is efficiently elicit with bacterial cell surface. Benzothiazole is heterocyclic nucleus and usually occurring in most marine and also natural plant precursor. Recently, benzothiazole analogous are prevailed in medicinal chemistry and pharmacological assay. Substituted benzothiazole moiety recently established as potential as anti HIV agents and some nitro containing substituted benzothiazole having effective antimicrobial activity. As industrial applicative of benzothiazole or its derivative produces in large volume during the chemical process involving vulcanization accelerators fungicides, corrosion inhibitors, and herbicides or algaecides. In this review, we described the importance and the synthesis of benzothiazole and its derivatives.
