REVIEW ON HERBAL LIPSTICK FORM COCA POWDER

ABSTRACT

Now-a-days herbal lipstick are gaining popularity because natural cosmetic are safe to use and easy to handle by women.Synthetic coloring agent may cause allergic reaction and were found to be carcinogenic in nature. Aim of our study was review on herbal lipstick using natural colouring matter like cocapowder as a coloring agent.Along with different natural ingredient such as bees wax, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil,cocoa powder, rosé essence and lemon juice is used for antioxidant. Prepared herbal lipstick were evaluated for different evaluation test such as melting point, PH, surface anomalies, solubility test, skin irritation test, perfume stability and also compared with marketed standard formulation result showed that different evaluation parameter of prepared herbal lipstick were resembled with standard value and with marketed formulation.Study revealed that natural edible colouring matter. May be the better option for preparation of herbal lipstick.
