REVIEW ON HERBAL MOISTURIZING CREAM

ABSTRACT

Herbal cosmetics are a type of formulation that is primarily used to protect and nurture a person’s look. Moisturizing cream are semisolid preparation used for reduces the chances of skin problems and fights wrinkles. The main aim of the research work is to prepare the moisturizing cream using different herbs and the prepared moisturizing cream are evaluated for the efficacy. The herbs used in the preparation are dried powder of neem, turmeric and aloe vera. The herbal extract containing moisturizing cream gives the cooling and soothing effect to the skin. The moisturizing creams are more moisturizing as they provide an oily barrier which reduces the water loss from the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin.
