As every individual in today’s world need a healthy, flawless, acne free skin and naturally glowing skin hence, herbal vanishing cream are gaining popularity. The most of existing creams which has been prepared from drugs of synthetic origin, such as acyclovir, triamcinolone, calcipotriene, mometason which gives more fairness to the skin but may have various side effects such as itching or kinds of allergic reactions. The creams are oil in water emulsion. Vanishing cream containing natural base was pleasant, effective, easily washable and completely safe for human use. In contrast with ointments, which are greasy and messy in nature and may cause staining of clothes, the prepared Natural palm oil based vanishing cream was pleasant, easily washable thereby increasing patient compliance. The prepared formulations were evaluated for physical evaluation tests like color, odor and evaluated for different evaluation parameters like pH, homogeneity viscosity, type of smear, after feel test, dye test, spreadability test, patch test and skin irritation study. The vanishing cream can also be prepared from the seeds and peels of plant. Herbal creams do not have any of these side effects, without side effects it gives the fairness look to skin. Method carried out to prepare herbal cream was very simple. Firstly, oil phase was prepared, the mixture of stearic acid (17%), potassium hydroxide (0.5%), sodium carbonate (0.5%) were melted at 700C. Secondly aqueous phase was prepared, mixture of alcoholic extract of crude drugs, including rhizomes of kachora plant, fruits of nagarmotha, fruits of pimpali, fruits of nutmeg, seeds of Jawas plant, rhizomes of turmeric, wheat grains and cereals of urid and harbhara (4.5%), glycerin (6%), perfume (0.5%), water (71%) heated at 70Oc. Then aqueous phase was added into the oil phase at 70Oc with continuous stirring. Now, once the transfer was completed it was allowed to come at room temperature all the while being stirred. Perfume was added at last just before the finished product was transferred to suitable container. The above prepared herbal cream was evaluated. The physical parameters such as pH, homogeneity by visual and by touch, appearance (color), rubout (spread ability, wetness), type of smear, emolliency were determined. Further studies are needed to investigate this formulation for its performance. Eugenia caryophyllus, Zingiber officinale and Nyctanthes arbor-tristis are medicinal plants; these plants are used traditionally from ancient year in the various herbal medicinal system such as Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and Siddha. The clove buds of Eugenia caryophyllus, rhizomes of Zingiber officinale and dried leaves of Nyctanthes arbor-tristis have anti-inflammatory analgesic activity. The present research was focus on the formulation of polyherbal cream and their evaluation by using various evaluation parameters of the present review are to formulate polyherbal cream and to evaluate the polyherbal cream.
