ABSTRACT
Growing evidence suggests that dietary supplement and nutraceutical may have a role in lowering risks for a disease and enhancing health. The term ―nutraceutical‖ was originally used by Dr Stephen De Felice providing medical and health advantages in 1989, such as disease prevention and treatment. Due to their alleged safety and possible nutritional and therapeutics advantages, nutraceutical have attracted a lot of interest. Utilizing nutraceutical may make it possible to lessen or do away with the requirements for traditional pharmaceutical, decreasing the likelihood of any negative side effects. Modern-day diseases like cancer, diabetes, allergies Alzheimer‘s disease, Parkinson
and cardiovascular diseases are being fought worldwide. Aloe-Vera gel, chamomile, ephedra, a garlic, ginger, ginseng, liquorice are some popular nutraceutical.
