ABSTRACT
Rhizome of zingiberofficinale (giger) is spacious used in medicinal purpose, Ayurveda literature highlight administration of ginger in both transmissible as weli as non transmissible diseases. It’s belong to family of zingiberaceae It’s obtained from the whole or cut dried scrupled or unscraped rhizomes of zingiber officinale.this medicinal substance belong to chemical class of oleo resume other members of these family are turmeric cardamom and galangal Ginger cultivation was started in South Asia and has sience then expond to East Africa and the Caribbean Officinale potential health benefits of Ginger are included colic, diarrhoea, anti microbial, anti inflammatory, blood pressure lowering, spasm,cholesterol lowering, cholesterol lowering, antiplatelet, cold and antioxidant property.
