ABSTRACT
Objective: To synthesize Nd(III) complexes by green methodology and evolution of their biological activities. Methods: Complexes of Quinoline derivatives with Nd(III) have been synthesized using the green methodology. The spectral characterization of the complexes has been performed by using Uv-Vis, IR, and NMR spectroscopy. The biological activities have been evolved by the disc diffusion method and 2D-QSAR interpretation performed by the MLR model. Results: The synthesized complexes possess effective stability. The MLR model yields r2 of 0.7657 and q2 of 0.6549. XA Average Hydrophilicity and XA Average Hydrophilicity are only a few of the descriptors included in the MLR equation that was produced. In the MLR model, the +Ve potential surface area descriptor positively correlated with the antibacterial activity, but the Z comp Dipole, XA Average Hydrophilicity, and XA Hydrophilic Area descriptors had a negative correlation. Conclusion: The newly developed green method for the synthesis of Nd (III) complexes is simple, less time-consuming, and eco-friendly.
