REVIEW ON: ALTERNATIVE NATURAL TREATMENT FOR PSORIASIS

ABSTRACT

Psoriasis is an immune mediated inflammatory disease, which is having no permanent cure. It mainly affect all of the body parts especially hand, foot, and limbs. In psoriasis, body starts to make a new skin cells more rapidly than normal leads to the development of rised skin patches and tissue on the skin. Systemic treatment, topical therapy and phototherapy are all now used to treat psoriasis. The prescribed synthetic drugs for the treatment of psoriasis are associated with several side effects, thus, researchers around the globe are searching for new, effective, and safer drugs from natural resources. Medicinal plant can be one of the alternative treatment method for psoriasis disease. Herbal drugs by virtue of their safe nature and easy availability may leand themselves as a potential antipsoriatic moieties.
