ABSTRACT
Introduction: Anemia is defined as the condition which is associated with the decrease in the hemoglobin or the proportion of red blood cells in the body. It can due to the disturbance in the production, utilization and the loss of red blood cells leading to increase in the demand of oxygen by the body tissues. Body: It is a common reason which leads to the mortality and morbidity in population. it effects the children cognitive and behavioral and development and causes variety of symptoms like headache, fatigue. Conclusion: It commonly occurs due to disturbance in the formation and removal of Red blood cells in the body. It can be corrected with diet followed by the support of medicines or in severe cases blood transfusions can help.
