DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF UV SPECTROSCOPIC METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF METADOXINE IN BULK AND SOLID DOSAGE FORM

ABSTRACT
The main objective was to Develop and Validate the UV-Spectroscopy method for the estimation of Metadoxine in bulk and pharmaceutical formulations as per ICH guidelines. It showed absorption maxima at 273 nm in Methanol. The method was Linear in the range between 05-25 μg mL-1. Accuracy was found between 97.68- 98.22%. Precision for Intra-day and Inter-day was found to be within the limits. The method was Simple, Precise, Accurate and Rapid for analysis of Metadoxine in Bulk and Tablet dosage form. Hence proposed developed method can be useful for routine and quality control analysis of Metadoxine in bulk and pharmaceutical formulation.
