ABSTRACT
Nanorobots were created thanks to the integration of nanotechnology and novel electronic materials. Nanorobots, in the nano scale section are capable of entering the cell for diagnosis, treatment and surgery. Nanorobots are made with particular materials and design methods due to their vast range of uses. Since biocompatible materials are employed in the creation of nanorobots, toxicity issues are avoided and they are chemically inert. The nano scale size allows the targeted delivery of drugs to the specific site without affected the normal surrounding cells. Nanorobots can move freely in the bloodstream due to the Brownian
motion. The numerous biomedical uses of nanorobots are explained in detail in this review.
Keywords: Nanorobots, diagnosis, treatment, surgery.
