FLUID COLLECTION AFTER LAPAROSCOPIC CHOLECYSTECTOMY: SINGLE TERTIARY CARE INSTITUTION EXPERIENCE

ABSTRACT
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the most common elective surgery performed in our institution. This is a retrospective study of 184 patients who underwent Laproscopic cholecystectomy from 1st April 2021 to 1st April 2022,out of which 4 patients presented with postoperative increased abdominal pain and tenderness, showing abdominal fluid on imaging.
Out of 4 patients,3 patients underwent both ultrasonography and MRCP whereas 1 patient underwent only ultrasonography. One patient underwent ERCP and stenting while rest 3 did not need any intervention.
