PUBLIC SURVEY AND DATA ASSESSMENT OF DRUGS USED IN MANAGEMENT OF COVID-19 INFECTION DURING SECOND WAVE

ABSTRACT
Background: The global pandemic of novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, and has since spread worldwide. Methods: The work is finding and collecting Prescription from cured COVID positive patients and assess the drugs, collect the data of prescribed marketed drugs by following their price, manufacturer and their product development in market, distribution strategies people acceptance and so on. Results: The drugs were collected through the prescriptions from the patients who have cured from covid-19. Nearly around 28-30 prescriptions were collected and the category of drugs prescribed was noted down, later drugs coming under those category were collected and analyzed according to their brand names, company manufacturing, dosage, price etc. Conclusion:
By this data of drugs used in treatment of covid-19 it will be very easy for a patient to go through general information regarding any particular drug, the information like brand name, which laboratory has manufactured it and especially the cost of the drug can be compared by the patient and the suitable drug can be purchased.
