MICRO-BEADS IN NOVEL DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM: - A REVIEW

ABSTRACT
The aim of any drug transport system is to offer a healing quantity of drug to the right site in the frame and additionally to attain and keep the preferred drug concentration. Natural polymer sodium alginate is used as matrix due to its natural, biodegradability, low cost, simplicity, and biocompatibility. Alginate is act as non -poisonous while taken orally and additionally suggests the protecting impact on mucous membrane of higher gastro-intestinal tract. Preparation of micro beads drug transport device is one of the options which contain neither use of harsh chemical nor increased temperature. The traditional strategies
contain withinside the use of inotropic gelation method, Emulsion gelation method, Polyelectrolyte complexation method, etc. The majority of labor has been performed at the instruction of micro beads via way of means of inotropic gelation method, polyelectrolyte complexation method, etc. The evaluation targeted on instruction, characterization of alginate micro beads, healing utility and their function in managed or novel drug transport systems.
