PEEL: PROMISING WOUND HEALING MATERIAL
Kajal Arvind Pradhan*
ABSTRACT
Wound healing is a cellular and molecular reaction to tissue damage that involves both molecular and cellular mechanisms. Flavonoids, saponins, and tannins have all been discovered in plants to aid in the process of preventing bleeding in various studies. Capillary blood vessels are affected by flavonoids, saponins reduce blood clotting, and tannins can constrict capillary blood capillaries. Saponins, alkaloids, tannins, and flavonoids have been discovered in banana peel waste.
