ABSTRACT
The distinctive solution is utilized within the treatment of the cardiovascular disease. The long-acting Beta blocker e.g., Metoprolol Succinate, Atenolol, Nebivolol, etc. Metoprolol Succinate is novel medicate utilized within the treatment of Hypertension. It must be given in single or in mixture with distinctive Antihypertensive agents. Metoprolol Succinate works by slow down the heart rate and make the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. UV Spectrophotometric method has been universally applicable in the determination of individual components in a mixture of fixed dose combinations. We aim to develop a spectroscopic method for estimation of the Metoprolol Succinate by using UV spectrophotometry. The method was validated as per ICH guidelines. The recovery studies assure the accuracy and precision of the method.
It was successfully applied for the analysis of the drug and used for routine analysis.
