A REVIEW OF CASE STUDIES FOCUSSING ON TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT, QUALITY BY DESIGN AND SIX SIGMA

ABSTRACT
Total quality management plays an important role in improving the quality of the products and to reach the expectations of customer and make them satisfy with the products that has been produced. The main objective of any organization is to produce the products cost effectively and also reach required revenues to maintain the position in the competitive world. QbD checks for expected performance and whether the products are producing according to the manufacturing standards for maintaining the quality and these predictions are very important. Six sigma is very significant in the identification of defects and improving the product using DMAIC model which ensures the benefits of the company and customer satisfaction. In this article an insight has been given relevant to the case studies involving Total Quality Management, Quality by Design and Six Sigma.
