FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF POLYHERBAL SOAP- “ADORNAYU”

ABSTRACT
The ultimate aim of the study is to formulate and evaluate polyherbal soap from natural herbs and ingredients that are healthier and beneficial for skin the herbs infused in there soap have therapeutic and healing characteristics that offer specific benefits to schemes such as nourishment, strength and moisturizing. The soap contain fatty oils, vitamin e and essential oil, glycerine, ambe halad powder, jaifal powder, aloe vera, liquorice powder, Neem powder, green tea, etc. the prepared soap as evaluated by parameters like organoleptic evaluation, appearance and homogenecity, skin irritation test, pH, water hardness,
basicity, moisture content, determination of percentage free alkali, foam height, foam retention, alcohol insoluble matter, TFM, anti-oxidant test, The physico chemical parameters such as colour, odour, appearance and pH where tested and other parameters also determined hence, based on anti oxidant all other parameters the formulated soap can further be standerlized and alternative to commercial medical soaps.
