ABSTRACT
This study examined the stability of Omeprazole solution for injection formulated in a simple and cost effective way because the usage prevalence of omeprazole in gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms is high as well as the formulations available in market need artistic way to use and had some more critical issues. Based on API nature, method of preparation was selected using non-aqueous solvents prior to which pre-formulation studies were also performed to check physical and chemical parameters. Pre-formulation parameters study provided a decision on selection of excipients, based on solubility and their stable nature with in certain temperature and presence of oxygen by which formulations were prepared and the formula with require necessity was optimised and studied analytically, results observed with limited impurities and maximum assay characteristics initially and upto 18 Months.
