ABSTRACT
Nanomedicine is an emerging field that combines nanotechnology and medicine in order to discover new cures and improve existing ones. Nanomedicine is the use of nanotechnology to achieve healthcare innovation. This procedure offers a variety of "smart" treatment options. As compared to conventional drugs, further research of nanomedicines has the potential to deliver various benefits, including enhanced efficacy, bioavailability, dose– response, targeting flexibility, customization, and safety. Throughout, hundreds of nanomedicine treatments are currently undergoing clinical trials, addressing all main disorders such as cardiovascular, neurological, musculoskeletal, and inflammatory. Nanomedicine is a key enabler in all areas of healthcare, from commercialised nano-delivery devices and medications to
medical imaging, diagnostics, and biomaterials.
Keywords: Nanotechnology, Nanomedicine, Targeted drug delivery, Nanoparticle.
