PILONIDAL SINUS INCIDENT AND OUTCOME IN IRAQ

ABSTRACT
Pilonidal sinus disease can show as a complicated condition with many sinus tracts and severely damage patient quality of life, even if it is clinically silent in some situations. Despite more than a century of clinical research into pilonidal sinus, there is still no agreed-upon treatment standard. In order to get the best possible outcome, the optimal therapy needs a shorter hospital stay and less wound care, results in a speedy recovery, and maintains quality of life. We hope to shed light on the obstacles and possible solutions to pilonidal sinus disease care in this review.
