Abstract

HERBAL BUCCAL TABLET - ALTERATIVE TREATMENT FOR INSOMNIA

ABSTRACT

Global sleeping pills Market is hiking inexorably due to increased anxiety, stress and depression amongst fast growing world population.50% of world population suffer from insomnia. The adverse effects of sleep medications inspired for the herbal formulation. Nutmeg is traditionally used against sleeping disorder in Ayurveda. Lavender oil offers claiming and soothing properties that can help to reduce stress and induce calmness. Bio adhesive buccal tablet formulation were developed using their extracts along natural additives and evaluated for in vitro parameter with positive outcomes.
