ABSTRACT
The goal of this study was to come up with a formula for vanishing herbal cream and evaluate it. Herbal creams have a number of benefits over regular creams. The majority of currently available creams are made from synthetic medications and provide extra fairness to the face, but they have various negative effects such as irritation or allergic reactions. The method used to make the herbal cream was fairly easy. To begin, an oil phase was made by melting a combination of stearic acid (17%), potassium hydroxide (0.5%), and sodium carbonate (0.5%) at 700°C. Second, an aqueous phase was made up of a mixture of
alcoholic extracts of crude medications such as C. officinalis and A.indica, Turmeric, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon, which are commercially accessible as extracts and in various formulations to be utilised for aesthetic or medical purposes. Glycerin (6%), scent (0.5%), and water (71%), all heated to 70 degrees Celsius. The aqueous phase was then added to the oil phase at 70°C while stirring continuously. The above-mentioned herbal cream was put to the test. Physical factors such as pH, visual and tactile homogeneity, appearance (colour), rubout (spread ability, wetness), smear type, and emolliency were measured.
Keywords: Herbal crude drug, Turmeric, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Vanishing cream.
