HISTORICAL AND CLINICAL ASPECTS OF ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS WITH INCREASED RISK OF STROKE AND CARDIOVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS AMONG PATIENTS: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a complex, autoimmune and chronic inflammatory disease affecting 30 per 10000 people and has been categorized as rheumatic disease. The main principle of AS treatment is to improve the quality of the life of patients. There are many reports on medical and clinical aspects of AS. Report designed on the basis of advance finding in clinical prospective, pathogenesis, symptoms, disease diagnosis tools, various types of treatments and drugs in AS with some historical prospective for origin of disease. AS treatment and side effects on increased risk of cardiovascular complication and stroke problem among patients is also discussed.
