Abstract

REVIEW PAPER ON PATENTS AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE IN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY

ABSTRACT

The Investigator returns the R&D expenses on patenting in the pharmaceutical industry, by using Board statistics of 32 countries. The pharmaceutical industry is analysed in a particular situation, when the enterprise that come from the patent being the brand-new drug and extra- scientific trials must be conducted to ensure safety and efficacy. The results indicated that pharmaceutical patent programs, within the U.S patent and trademark workplace, the EU patent office and the triadic family that includes United states, EU and Japan, Pharmaceutical R&D prices had no effect coming from European International locations. However, for the six non- EU International locations within the dataset (Australia, South-Korea, Mexico, Romania, Singapore and Taiwan), the Research and development constantly had statistically substantial outcomes on all triadic patent packages inside the enterprise. The results have been greater reported while the us and Japan had been additionally covered. While China, Brazil and India had been excluded because of skipping pharmaceutical Research and development statistics, its miles hypothesized that the effect of these nations would have made the consequences stronger.[1]
