Abstract

A CASE STUDY ON TROPHIC ULCER MANAGED WITH TILA KALKA AND MADHU

ABSTRACT

A trophic ulcer is difficult to heal and it affects the quality of life of the patients. We present a case of 40 years old male with a trophic ulcer on medial malleolus of his left foot. He is a known case of CTEV associated with Spina bifida. The case was well managed with Ayurveda protocols of managing ulcers. The open wound was completely healed in 40 days with local application of Tila Kalka and Madhu and regular sterile dressing.
