COVID-19- A MULTIFACETED, COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW

ABSTRACT

Corona virus is a family of virus having some strains those results in deadly disease in mammals and birds. The origin of corona virus is bats and transmitted to human beings through yet unknown intermediary animals in Wuhan, Hubei province, in December 2019 China. The clinical features of COVID-19 are varied, ranging from asymptomatic state to SARS and multi organ dysfunction. The transmission of infection is due to respiratory drop from one person to other. Thousands of suspected covid-19 cases have been tested performing in further than 2000 confirmed cases in India. This virus is transmitted by inhalation or contact with infected droplets and the incubation period ranges from 2 to 14 d. The symptoms of COVID-19 cases are usually fever, cough, sore throat, breathlessness, fatigue, malaise among others. This pandemic named as covid-19 outbreak has challenged the economic, medical and public health infrastructure of China and other countries especially, its neighbour countries. Mansoora Kadha, Ayush kwath Kadha, Chyawanprash, are the traditional remedies used in the covid cases. Vaccines activate the immune system of host to make antibodies to defend against specific disease. In other word they make the immune system behaves as if the body already had this illness. The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, Others vaccines that have favor for use in varied countries are The Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine (in the United Kingdom) Coronavac, developed by Sinovac (in China), The Sputnik V vaccine (in Russia), Covaxin, produced by Bharat Biotech, (in India).
