THERAPEUTIC POTENTIAL OF PUNICA GRANATUM IN VARIOUS DISORDERS

ABSTRACT
The pomegranate is an ancient, mystical, unique fruit borne on a little, long-living tree cultivated throughout the Mediterranean region, as way north because the Himalaya Mountains, in Southeast asia, and in American state and Arizona within the United States. Additionally to its ancient historical uses, pomegranate is used in many systems of drugs for number of diseases. This review depicts various therapeutic potential of a Punica granatum in various diseases/disorders. The synergistic action of the pomegranate constituents is superior to use of a single constituent. Antioxidant past decade, numerous studies on the inhibitor, anti carcinogenic, and anti-inflammatory properties of
pomegranate constituents have been revealed, that specialize in treatment and prevention of cancer, Cardiovascular complaint, diabetes, dental conditions, erectile pathology, microorganism infections and antibiotic resistance, and ultraviolet radiation-induced skin harm. Other potential applications Contain baby brain anemia, male Infertility, Alzheimer’s Condition, arthritis, and obesity.
