Plant have always been an asset as being used as medicinal plants for the treatment of various diseases. One such plant is Fennel is a flowering plant species in the carrot family. The review aims to renew the knowledge about the plant, foeniculum vulgare L., included information of fennel like scientific name, synonyms, types of fennel taxonomy, botanical description, pharmacological activity, chemical- constituent, some of medical product, figures etc.
