CORONASOMNIA: MOST DEBILITATING MANIFESTATION OF COVID-19
K. Srinivas Rao, P. Veeresh Babu* and N. Sreelakshmi
ABSTRACT Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. People are reporting more sleep problems than ever before with the stress, grief, anxiety of COVID-19 and its impact on daily life (Jahrami et al., 2021). Around 4 in 10 people have reported trouble sleeping during the pandemic. Lack of good sleep is such a widespread problem that the CDC has called it a ―public health epidemic‖. Sleep experts have labeled these problems ―coronasomnia‖, a portmanteau of coronavirus and insomnia (Chattu et al., 2018). Keywords: . [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
