A CASE REPORT OF ALBENDAZOLE LEAD CONSEQUENCES IN ANEMIC PATIENT & IMPORTANCE OF A CLINICAL PHARMACIST

ABSTRACT
Albendazole is typically used as anthelmintics drug which treats certain worms in children and menstruating girls and women. In this case report, we came across a patient who is suffering both anemia and Malnutrition (confirmed by the physicians, by Body Mass Index [BMI] other lab parameters & physical examination) was prescribed with Albendazole therapy with Iron Supplements. Where patient has shown the Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) to the particular therapy. Here we want to describe the patient condition in brief and the Albendazole effects in this particular patient, as a Clinical Pharmacists we cross checked the Case and found an Intervention.
