Abstract

LITERATURE STUDY OF THE ROLE OF COMMUNITY PHARMACY IN THE ERA OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

ABSTRACT

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was first discovered in Wuhan, China, which started from the Huanan market in Wuhan. This case begins with pneumonia or inflammation of the lungs. The COVID-19 virus can spread through coughing or sneezing, the groups at risk of contracting this disease are people who have been in contact with confirmed COVID-19 patients. In less than a month, this virus has spread to Thailand, Japan, and South Korea. This review aims to describe the latest research on community pharmacy in this time of COVID-19. The method used is to browse several websites such as ScienceDirect, PubMed, and NEJM. Based on the results obtained after reviewing community pharmacy journals around the world, improving pharmaceutical services, providing personal protection and pharmaceutical services to the community during the COVID-19 period, providing remote services to suppress the spread of COVID-19 cases, maintaining immunization coverage between the community and staff, and selling drugs can be monitored and ensure the availability of drugs, maintain the availability of drugs and monitor the spread of COVID-19 infection accurately.
