ABSTRACT
Gram negative bacteria found in vertualy all environment on the earth at support life. the study of stationary phase revealed very interesting phenomena such as the growth advantage in stationary phase phenotype this review focus on sub intresting response of gram negative bacteria. Particular life style composed of continous cycle of growth and starvation is commonly reffered to as feast and famine. Bacteria have developed many different mechanism to servive in nutrient depleted and harsh environment. Stationary phase is very regulated process governed by the alternative sigma factor RpoS. In a
stationary phase means this topic we review some events allow in gram negative bacteria.
