A REVIEW ON ANTIHELMINTIC ACTIVITY OF MEDICINAL PLANTS

ABSTRACT
Medicinal plants were the widest source of numerous pharmacological action. Helminthiasis is one of the most important group of parasitic conditions. The pathogenic infection causes the severe effect of mortality and other problems that were unbridled due to the anthelmintic resistance that's developed in the host organism. sponger have been of concern to the medical field for centuries and the helminths considered causing considerable problems for mortal being and creatures; they produce further side effect than that of the treatment efficacity. Hence, the need for the disquisition of the shops
for the treatment has attained a great interest and this review gives the list of many medicinal shops like avermectin, artimisiamyrobalan, tulsietc that were able of reducing the helmintic infection. A large number of medicinal shops are have been scanned for this exertion using colorful in-vitro and in-vivo system. The present review summarizes some important pharmacological and primary studies on medicinal shops, products there of and insulated principle from them, which can be delved further to achieve lead motes in the hunt of new herbal medicines.
