REVIEW OF STUDY OF E.S.R. WITH RELATION TO AYURVEDIC SWASTH PARIKSHAN

ABSTRACT
While working in Ayurved hospital and while diagnosing and treating patients, some important tests like Haemogram and E.S.R. are done as routine. E.S.R. with relation to Ayurvedic swasth parikshan was studied. The study was of observational type. ESR was measured by Wintrob’s Method. In the study it was found that E.S.R. values in Pitta Prakriti individuals were observed near lower border of normal range. E.S.R. values in Kapha Prakriti individuals were observed near upper border of normal range. E.S.R. values in Vata Prakriti individuals were observed to lie in middle of normal range. Guru, Manda, Shita, Snigdha, Shlakshna, Sthira, Mrutsna, Pichchil, Sthula guna help to
increase the E.S.R. Laghu, Tikshna. Ushna, Ruksha, Khara, Chala, Sara, Vishad, Sukshma guna help to decrease the E.S.R.
