ABSTRACT
A virus life cycle is a process that involves the entry of a virus into a cell and its localizing to an intracellular environment. The entry and localizing of a virus leads to the virus' assembly and translation of its RNA, which can then be translated to viral proteins. A virus is an obligate intracellular parasite that needs to gain entry into a cell to produce a progeny virus. The entry and localizing phases of the virus life cycle are discussed below. After entering the cell, the virus acquires its capsid, transcribes its RNA, assembles its genome, and exits the cell.
Keywords: fusion peptide, late domain, packaging signal.
