ABSTRACT
The occurance of VAM fungal infection percentage either in monocot and dycot plants at Tasman Peninsula and South-west Heath lands in Tasmania Australia was carried as representing end of summer up to early of spring seasons. The results of VAM infection all over the seasons indicated similar trend between young and old root of either monocot and dicot. The percentage of VAM infection in monocot decrease from April to May and June, and it increase at July and after. The percentage of VAM infection in Dicot decrease from May to June and July, and increase at August. The percentage of VAM infection in dicot plant is higher than monocot plant either at Tasman Peninsula or
South West Coast. The percentage of VAM infection in dicot plant in South-West Heathlands is higher than those in Tasman Peninsula. Nevertheless there was not specific trend of VAM infection percentage in monocot plants.
