ABSTRACT
Medicinal herbs and phytocompounds derived from them are becoming more widely acknowledged as effective cancer treatments. Lung cancer is a disease that has a high rate of morbidity and mortality. As a result, it is frequently linked to a great deal of discomfort and a general decline in quality of life. Herbal medicines are a major source of novel pharmaceuticals and are acknowledged as an appealing approach to lung cancer therapy with few adverse effects. Ayurveda is seen to be a stride forward in the treatment of tumours that are similar to the clinical entities of arbuda and granthi stated in Sushrutha samhita. The goal of this study was to look at medicinal plants and other living entities that have anticancer properties in the case of lung cancer. We look at some clinical research that looked into
the use of herbal remedies for lung cancer and the establishment of randomised controlled trials.
