Abstract

EFFECT OF COCOS NUCIFERA OIL AGAINST PATHOGEN ISOLATED FROM KERATITIS EYE INFECTION

ABSTRACT

Microbiology study in keratitis infection causes inflammation of the cornea due to microbial infiltration, often accompanied by a loss of stream and disrupted epithelium. Patients with infectious keratitis can present with rapid-onset pain, blurred vision, mucopurulent discharge, and photophobia. All through history humans have used medicinal plants and the component alkaloids and flavonoids of Cocos nucifera oil has some biotic effects, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antifungal, antimicrobial activity, A keratitis eye infected patients included in this study were of age group (35-45). Eye specialist sample collecting on the a sterile swab was used for keratitis eye infection study in Sample processing, Microscopic examination, Antibiotic sensitivity test, Statistical analysis the sample was processed according to the standard Microbial techniques infected keratitis statistical analysis was done. Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Candida albicans, Aspergillus fumigates.
