A SLANT ON COVID-19 OMICRON VARIANT

ABSTRACT

It has been 2 years living with the pandemic that caused millions of deaths and severe complications, with evolution of various mutated forms of COVID-19 variants like alpha, delta, gamma, etc. An emergence of a new, highly mutated variant B.1.1.519 named Omicron which is also the Variant of Concern (VOC) as per WHO has brought attention to the clinicians, researchers and anger, panic and anxiety among people.
