AJINOMOTO FOOD TOXICITY WITH SPECIALREFERENCE TO DUSHIVISHA & ITS AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT

ABSTRACT
Recently many states in India was banned Maggie because of high levels of lead & Ajinomoto found in some samples of Maggie. But do you know how Ajinomoto affects your health. Ajinomoto is a taste enhancer. It is added in various dishes to make tasty food. Youngsters love fast food & they attend parties, treats & slowly depends more on such food. The effects are observed in people who regularly intake this type of foods like noodles, pizzas, burgers, fast food stuff like manchurians & they do not enjoy homemade food. Long term food effects like headache, asthma, obesity, cancer, infertility are seen in these people. In Ayurveda According to Sushrutacharya the Dushivisha means the poison which has less toxic content or due to sun light, air, and climate the poison get reduced its toxic properties or due
to purification methods the toxicity is reduced in poison, this poison which can remain for long time in body due to Kapha aavran. In short this Dushivisha i.e. cumulative poison are accumulated in body which cannot eliminate from body & long term accumulation of poison which causes chronic toxicity in body. Ajinomoto is like cumulative poison. Long term Ajinomoto food consumption causes chronic toxic effects. Dushivisha treatment is used on Ajinomoto toxicity i.e. Nidan parivarjan means preventive measures. Panchakarma i.e. purification of body & using supplementary medication in form of agad as mention in our Classical text.
