A REVIEW ON AEROSOLS; GMP REQUIREMENTS, FORMULATION AND EVALUATON

ABSTRACT
Aerosols are disperse system containing therapeutically active ingredients dissolved or emulsified in a propellant or mixture of solvent and propellant and intended for topical administration. It comprises of Introduction, GMP requirements of Aerosols. Preformulation studies, excipient selection criteria. Also includes formulation methods and evaluations. Stability studies on concentrate and propellant, containers and valve was also discussed. Storage, packing and labelling of aerosols and documentation were also discussed.
