A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW ON JELLIES: GMP REQUIREMNETS AND EVALUATION

ABSTRACT

A Jellies formulation typically comprises one or more active substance(s) and other excipients that are required to enable the pharmacokinetic and mechanical properties of the final dosage form. The domain “Formulation and characterization of Jellies” comprises with Introduction and GMP requirements of jellies. The various preformulation studies and criteria for excipient selection were illustrated. Formulation and method of preparation and the evaluation including stability studies were discussed. It includes storage, packaging, labelling and documentation of jellies in manufacturing aspect.
