ABSTRACT
Ivabradine hydrochloride is a hydrochloride obtained by combining Ivabradine with one molar equivalent of hydrochloric acid. Used to treat patients with angina who have intolerance to beta blockers and/ or heart failure. It has a role as a cardio tonic drug. It contains an Ivabradine. The main aim of this review article is useful for the future study for researcher involved in formulation development and quality control of Ivabradine. This review article summarizes the numerous analytical methods for estimating Ivabradine in pharmaceutical dose forms that have been described. Various writers published on spectrophotometric techniques and the Q-absorbance ratio method.
Thin layer chromatography, High performance liquid chromatography, and High performance thin layer chromatography were all areas where many researchers worked.
Keywords: Ivabradine hydrochloride, High performance liquid chromatography, Methanol, Acetonitrile, Phosphate buffer.
