STUDY OF PRESENCE OF ANEMIA IN CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE IN TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL

ABSTRACT
Background: Congenital heart disease (CHD) is defined as an abnormality in cardio circulatory structure or function that is present at birth, even it is discovered much later. Incidence of congenital heart disease (CHD) is 8-10 per 1000 in India and worldwide of which can affect health of baby associated with anemia it become serious preventable condition for further ease of child life Hence a better study to look for presence of anemia with congenital heart disease can contribute for early prevention or treatment of child life especially in rural area. Case Records: It was cross sectional hospital bases observational study in tertiary rural care center where evaluation of
112 neonate who came in department of pediatrics at pravara institute of medical science, Loni with congenital heart disease where identified and studied In between January 2021 to june 2021. Conculsion: out of 112 cases 42 were found to be anemic of which maximum of Acyontic were evaluated As mortality of child can be improved by early diagnosis and treatment of anemia in congenital heart disease study has found to be useful and further detail hematological evaluation is needed.
