A REPORT ON PREPARATION & EVALUATION OF POLYHERBAL FACIAL SCRUB

ABSTRACT

The main objective of the current study is to prepare polyherbal facial scrub. These days’ cosmetics have become a significant part of day-to-day life for both men & women to lead a cheerful & confident life. Keeping in mind that Herbs and spices have been used in maintaining and enhancing human beauty because herbs have many beneficial properties, such as sunscreen, anti-aging, moisturizing, antioxidant, anticellulite, and antimicrobial effects. As compared with synthetic cosmetic products, herbal products are mild, biodegradable, and have a low toxicity profile,[3] so we concluded to prepare & evaluate a polyherbal facial scrub to protect Acne, Scars, Tanning, Wrinkles, Aging, and Redness. This facial scrub contains herb which shows Antioxidants, Antiseptic, Antibacterial, Skin brightener, Diminish permanent marks & reducing inflammation properties. In this arrangement, we have utilized the primary ingredient as Oats, Sunflower seeds and other natural ingredients as Charcoal, Fuller’s Earth, Coffee, Turmeric, and Rice flour, Gram Flour. Oats are rich in zinc that is important for fighting off pimples. Oats help to absorb the excess oil on the skin and are an essential part of acne treatments. They also help to treat dry and itchy skin as the beta-glucans help to moisturize the skin. Turmeric contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components. These characteristics may provide glow and luster to the skin. Turmeric may also revive your skin by bringing out its natural glow. Sunflowers seeds are also rich in minerals like calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, selenium, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, and zinc.[01,02] Sunflower seed oil has been studied for its protective impact on the biophysical properties of skin in people. The prepared scrub was evaluated for different parameters Color, Odor, Consistency, pH, Viscosity, Spreadability, Washability & Irritability discovered to be fulfilled with all require characterization. Hence, the prepared polyherbal facial scrub can be utilized for bearing healthy & glowing natural skin.
