AN OVERVIEW – DIFFERENT ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUES FOR THE ESTIMATION OF SAQUINAVIR IN PHARMACEUTICAL AND BULK DOSAGE FORM

ABSTRACT

Saquinavir is the widely used antiviral (anti-HIV) drug.it was first developed by Roche and became the first FDA approved HIV-1 PI in 1995.studies suggest that this drug is used not in curing HIV but it works by decreasing the chance of developing AIDS. This review discusses the different analytical methods utilized for the estimation of Saquinavir. There are different analytical methods are available for the estimation of the antiretroviral drug saquinavir mesylate. This present review accounts the disclosed analytical methods are outlined for the establishment of saquinavir mesylate in pharmaceutical and bulk dosage form.
