Abstract

A REVIEW ON IMPORTANCE OF MEDICINAL PLANTS IN COVID-19 PANDEMIC AS AN IMMUNITY BOOSTER

ABSTRACT

The whole world facing COVID-19 pandemic, so there has been a plenty of interest in ways to boosting our immune system, and thus build a primary line of defense against the deadly virus. There are many plants native to India and utilized in the Indian Systems of Medicine which have been reported as potent antiviral with immunomodulatory and anti-allergic/anti asthmatic activities. Many of these medicinal plants are also an essential part of several traditional formulations that have been in use for an extented time. This review article presents some of the popular medicinal plants which can be used as an immunity booster in this COVID-19 pandemic.
